The Niagara Whalers are returning from the Holiday Break with a championship title in their sights. A strong 24-4-1 start to the season has the Whalers sitting third place in the GMHL's South Division.

Leading the way for the run will be David Christopher. The third year Whaler and Captain has a team leading 84 points in 28 games, ranked amongst the league's best statistically.

Right behind him is former OHL player Nick Pastorious. Pastorious has an impressive 61 points of his own including 25 goals.

The quest for a back-to-back championship continues January 6th when the club travels to Tottenham to take on the Steam.

The first home game of the 2018 year takes place on Jan. 7th at 7:00PM at the Vale Centre.
