Jr / College Prep Camp

Midget, Junior & College (Ages 15 & up)

Skill development and player promotion are our top priority at the World Hockey Centre. Over the years we have developed relationships with many Junior, OHL, NCAA and professional coaches and placed many of our players in their programs.

In our in-residence, Summer Skill Development and College Showcase, players will have the opportunity to show coaches and recruiters their best. Since the coaches themselves stay at the World Hockey Centre, players will have unparalleled access to coaches and recruiters who are actively seeking players for their upcoming rosters. Not only will the players have the opportunity to speak with them on a one-on-one basis, but also show them their progression, both on and off the ice.

A message for our younger players

Though our program is certainly for players ready to make to move to Junior or College level hockey, we also have a place for younger players here at the World Hockey Centre. For the younger players that still have a year or two of Midget hockey left, our program will provide those players with significant insight into what they can expect when playing Junior or College level hockey. Our skill-specific grouping will give younger players in this program the opportunity to fully immerse themselves in the hockey culture that they are working so hard to be a part of.

Fun @ WHC

If you are serious about your skill development, you already know off-season training is essential to your progression as a hockey player. That doesn't mean you can't work hard and have fun at the same time.

Players staying for multiple weeks have the option to go on field trips* to help break up the demanding training schedule during the week. Favourite WHC field trips include popular destinations like the Hockey Hall of Fame, Wasaga Beach, and Blue Jay Stadium.
