Ryan Wood
Director of Youth & Girls Hockey Programs

The World Hockey Centre is very pleased to announce that Ryan Wood will be returning as the camp's Director for another summer!

Wood was hired to the WHC Team in 2012 to head the Youth and Girls programs. During the winter he serves as the Head Coach of the Bradford Bulls Junior 'A' Hockey Club.

Ryan comes from a strong hockey background as a player, coach and official. Ryan played his Junior A hockey in the MJHL as well as the SIJHL. Ryan's playing career took him to the coaching ranks where he has coached AAA and Junior hockey in Manitoba.

Progressing from coaching Ryan moved to donning the stripes where he worked professional hockey as a referee in the SPHL,CHL,IHL,USHL,NAHL and NCAA.

Ryan has made valuable contacts in hockey and brings a wealth of hockey knowledge to the table.

The WHC organization couldn't be happier to have Ryan back to help maintain WHC's reputation as one of the premier summer development programs in North America.

Sean Werth
counselor

Sean was hired to the WHC team in 2008, working in the youth program for the past four summers.

Sean is now a fourth yearstudent at McMaster University enrolled in the Honours Bachelor of Commerce Degree program majoring in Financial Market Studies.

Dalton Mills
counselor

Dalton is an alumni of the WHC Youth Camp. He has trained in WHC's for the past nine summers, before making the jump to staff last summer.

'Millsy' is the Captain of the Bradford Bulls Junior 'A' Hockey Club. He is pursuing an NCAA scholarship through hockey.

Nick D'Avolio
counselor

Nick has spent his past six summers at the World Hockey Centre. D'Avolio joined the staff in 2012.

Nick is currently attending Univeristy at Wisconsin-Stevens Point U and playing in the NCAA. Before that, he played for the Chicago Steel in the USHL.
